Queen Saá-Scoáuthoímhá appeared in Daírtha’s Cave, sitting on her white stead.
She dismounted her horse and stood near him. The strength of her aura was like a fire and a bright,
dominating light in the whole expanse of the cave. It filled every corner. “Vi, is there no way to
avert this coming cataclysm?” The Queen bargained with Vi. “I will continue to assume my form as an
elfin-nymph to protect my people, if you save our world.” She was very forthcoming to Vínuim as she proposed.Glory be to our Radiant Queen from the sky,
“My lady, do you not know me well enough to know this thing that will happen on the Earth?
Do you not know that Darkness will loom and there is no stopping its destruction? The end must come at some time.” A mist began to form
in the cave and it settled as it began to grow dark outside the cave. “Lord Vi, Do you think I have not sacrificed my lofty places
in the sky to stop this thing coming to pass? I will stay in this form as long as it takes to protect
my kin and bring them through the Black Sleep, if you save our world! Will you not settle for any
Daírtha reverently protested. “My Queen, I have
been blessed by Ollen and his strength. I have his protection. Please return to Vaaluir and
re-assume your resplendence above us in the sky. My people are prepared for the beckoning doom
that will enshroud this Earth.”
Queen Saá-Scoáuthoímhá tenderly retorted. “Daírtha, I also have the blessing of Ollen and my King who remains vanquished. I must dwell and fortify my
being to Eluíra in this time of need. I can not sit in the lofty places while this doom is at hand.”
Vi continued to speak to Daírtha and the Queen’s proposals.
The Eluíran elves rested and meditated until the break of dawn when they would reveal themselves to Princess Iluíra’s army.
They listened to the three as they bargained for the Realm of Arden. The elves all thought in one accord. Our Queen has sacrificed so much to be among us.
She has our love and support just as she has shown to us. They all confided in her and spoke hopes to Athí-Nhu.
“My Queen, a great purpose awaits you,” Vi mused. It was as if he were receiving advice from the Others of the Day.
“As Shadow and Sleep enshroud us, there will be no sign of the Day at all. It will be as hidden as
shadows are to darkness.” He paused a minute, stroking his chin. “My dear, it is clear to me.
You will be the beacon that reveals the shadows. Your love of your kin has shown favor among your
brothers and sisters of the Day. You must understand what you are doing. Your flesh can be your
undoing. If you are struck down, your fate may be out of the care of the Day. Darkness and Night will
overpower you. Your choice comes with a price. If you are lost, so will our world surely end!”
Vi really was trying to make the Queen reconsider her sacrifice, fearing the worst and the end of all
existence. He hoped in her though and saw the greater need of a beacon in the night. She would be
that light to show and direct the way. “You must prove yourself worthy against your enemy, Princess Iluíra.
You must also protect the one thing she seeks now, the Ellácoírr. It has been left over since
the Creation of this Earth. It is the Creator’s own breath and she will seek to dominate all nature
with this, my Lady, even you. She will be the test as to what is to come. You will lead many to
victory with your might and blessing of the Day. Protect my Temple in Vall and the ‘Breath Stone’
upon the altar. Do this at all costs.” Vi recalled the coming of Óurias and the Srí, the People of the Sun.
The Queen would pave the way to their arrival from beyond the Misty Barrier of Jax.
“You will also pave the way of Óurias of the Srí, heaven’s bright sun. He will be your ally in this
Dark Time. You will be the beacon of light that breaks the veil over the Misty, hidden isle of Lughó-Thrí.”
Queen Saá-Scoáuthoímhá accepted her task with optimism and full assertion.
She stood proud in front of Vi.
Vi bowed his head loyally to the Queen. His heart was filled with respect and joy for her sacrifice.
He reached to brow and removed the tiara of Cátern Ivy. “My Queen, please take this tiara of Cátern Ivy
and wear this as a symbol of hope and perseverance that we will overcome this and we will survive.
It is the Remnant that will pass into the crucible of fire and must survive. Let this ivy symbolize a
great victory. May it symbolize the union of all elfinkind and we who are the Ancients as we fight to
keep freedom and prosperity in our realm. We will cross a threshold into a Dark time, and we will need
your radiance close to us.” He placed the tiara of leaves on her golden head of hair. The green leaves
glittered and sparkled with a life of their own and mixed with the awesome radiances of her aura.
As the tiara of ivy was placed on her head, the crystal rock formations of the cave glimmered with an
unearthly glow. It aroused the attention of the horses and the elfin army resting there. The elves
were filled with awe and beat their breasts with pride in approval of the Queen’s sacrifice. They
quietly sang a hymn of praise to Queen Saá-Scoáuthoímhá.

Daírtha also unsheathed his sword, bent down on one knee with his sword shown towards the Queen as presenting allegiance. “My sword is at your service, my Queen.
Let us go and retake this Earth! I am your servant. You are the Queen of Arden. The fate of our realm rests upon your own heart, my Queen.”
More to come!
